In the latest ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings update, India’s Jasprit Bumrah has reclaimed the top spot as the world’s No. 1 Test bowler. Bumrah, who recently claimed six wickets in India’s seven-wicket win over Bangladesh, has surpassed teammate Ravichandran Ashwin to hold the premier position for the second time.
Ashwin, who also took five wickets in the match, remains close behind Bumrah, just one point away from the top ranking. Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan and Shakib Al Hasan have also made significant improvements in the rankings.

Sri Lanka’s Prabath Jayasuriya, who was named Player of the Series against New Zealand, has reached a new career-high ranking of seventh in the Test bowling list. Meanwhile, India’s series sweep over Bangladesh has solidified their position at the top of the World Test Championship standings, putting them in a strong position to qualify for the final.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was the Player of the Match in the rain-affected Test against Bangladesh, has jumped two places to third in the Test batter rankings. Virat Kohli has also re-entered the top 10 after gaining six places.

Kamindu Mendis of Sri Lanka has climbed five places to 11th in the Test batter rankings after scoring a century in the second Test against New Zealand. His teammates Dinesh Chandimal and Angelo Mathews have also made gains in the rankings.
In the Test all-rounder rankings, Mehidy Hasan of Bangladesh has moved up two places to fifth, while India’s Ravindra Jadeja maintains his lead at the top.
In the white-ball rankings, Australia’s Steve Smith has moved up one place to 20th in the ODI batter rankings. England’s Harry Brook and Ben Duckett have reached new career-high ratings for batters, while Adil Rashid and Jofra Archer have made significant improvements in the ODI bowler rankings.
In the T20I rankings, South Africa’s Reeza Hendricks has moved up five places to 11th for batters, and Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee has reached a new career-high ranking for all-rounders.
