Chandigarh, December 24
Trials for Punjab’s men’s and women’s kabaddi teams for the upcoming All India Services Kabaddi Tournament will be held on December 26th at Polo Ground Patiala at 11:00 am. The tournament, organized by the Central Civil Services Cultural and Board, will take place in New Delhi from January 3rd to 8th, 2025.
The Sports Department spokesperson clarified the eligibility criteria for the trials:
Eligible participants include regular government employees and officials from various departments (after obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments), as well as personnel from security services, para-security organizations, central police organizations, police (including RPF, CISF, BSF, ITBP, and NSG), autonomous bodies, undertakings, and public sector banks (including central ministry-run banks).

The following are not eligible: casual/daily workers, temporary office workers, and newly recruited employees who have been in regular service for less than six months.
Players will be responsible for covering their own travel, accommodation, and food expenses during the tournament.
