Dope Testing Protocols for Asian Kabaddi Championship Athletes

-Asian Circle Kabaddi Championship to be Held in Malaysia

Patiala, December 30 (Sports Desk)

All players from teams participating in the Asian Kabaddi Championship, set to take place in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur, will undergo mandatory dope tests. This was announced by Gulab Singh Saini, Chairman of the Asian Kabaddi Federation. He revealed that the championship will feature teams from 8 countries each in the men’s and women’s categories.

Saini emphasized that his federation is taking concrete and transparent steps to promote the global spread of circle kabaddi.

He further informed that during the 19th National Championship in Circle Kabaddi, organized by the Uttarakhand Kabaddi Association under the banner of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India from January 10 to 12 at Sri Gurudwara Sahib, Bajpur (Nainital), potential players for the Indian men’s and women’s teams will be selected. Following this, dope tests will be conducted during the national camp, and only those players found to be dope-free will be chosen for the national teams.

The event was attended by coach Gurdip Singh Bitty, Narinder Rana, and other dignitaries.
