Degrees & Dreams: Health Minister Inspires Graduates at Asian Colleges’ Convocation & Alumni Meet

Punjab’s Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Balbir Singh was the chief guest at the Convocation and Alumni Meet organized by the Asian Group of Colleges. Also present on the occasion was Dr. Pushpinder Singh Gill, Vice Chancellor of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University.
The Health Minister awarded degrees to the students and extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for their bright future. Addressing the gathering, he stated that the youth are the real brand ambassadors of “Rangla Punjab” (Colorful Punjab). He emphasized that through their talent, hard work, and dedication, the youth can bring glory to Punjab’s name both nationally and internationally, while setting new benchmarks for progress.
The Health Minister highlighted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is fully committed to strengthening the education revolution. The government is actively improving basic infrastructure in government schools and colleges, establishing modern laboratories, providing digital facilities, and promoting skill development programs. He noted that the new initiatives in the education sector will open up world-class opportunities for students and create new avenues for employment.
During the Alumni Meet, the Health Minister interacted with former students and praised their achievements. He described the college’s alumni as a source of inspiration for the institution, with their success serving as a guiding light for current students.
The event’s Chairman, Tarsem Saini, honored the chief guests. College management also shared information about the institution’s achievements and future plans.
Among those present were Senior Vice President of Punjab Arhtiya Association Satwinder Singh, Harbhinder Singh, Shingar Singh, Principal Dr. Meenu Singh, Dr. Kumkum Bajaj, Dr. Pabla, and Dr. M.S. Saini.
This ceremony celebrated academic excellence, youth empowerment, and the government’s vision for a progressive Punjab.
