Warm-Up Matches to Take Place in Bengaluru and Colombo Ahead of September 30 Tournament Start
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the warm-up schedule for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, with matches scheduled in Bengaluru, India, and Colombo, Sri Lanka, from September 25 to 28, 2025.
The warm-up games will be hosted across four venues: the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground and M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, and the R. Premadasa Stadium and Colombo Cricket Club Ground in Colombo.
All eight qualified teams for the Women’s ODI World Cup will participate in the warm-up fixtures, with each team playing two matches, except for defending champions Australia, who will play only one. Additionally, India A and Sri Lanka A will feature, with India A playing one match and Sri Lanka A competing in two.

The warm-up matches begin on September 25, with India facing England at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground in Bengaluru, while South Africa take on New Zealand at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. In Colombo, Sri Lanka will play Pakistan at the Colombo Cricket Club Ground, and Bangladesh will meet Sri Lanka A at R. Premadasa Stadium.

The warm-up schedule concludes on September 28, with South Africa facing India A in Bengaluru and Pakistan playing Sri Lanka A in Colombo. All matches will commence at 3:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).
The main tournament begins on September 30, with co-hosts India and Sri Lanka clashing at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
