Karnal Cricket Coaching Centre (KCCC) lifted the prestigious Karnal Cup 2025 after beating Black Elephant Cricket Club (BECC), Patiala 2-1 in the three-match series. In a commanding performance in the decider, KCCC won the third and final match by 42 runs.

Batting first after winning the toss, KCCC posted a competitive 160 all out in 28.2 overs, powered by a classy 53 from Prayansh Choudhry, well-supported by Yuvi 22 and Archu 21.

Patiala’s bowling was led by Arunpreet, who ripped through the lower order with a brilliant 5/23, while Yash Tiwari (3/30) and Ustat Singh (2/23) kept things tight.
In reply, BECC started aggressively, racing to 27/0 in just 4.2 overs. But once the breakthrough came, the innings collapsed dramatically. KCCC’s bowlers applied relentless pressure, bundling out Patiala for 118 in 26.3 overs.
Yash Sodhi (4/18) and Prayansh Choudhry (4/13) destroyed the middle and lower order, with Kunal chipping in with 1/11. Himanshu Lamba (25) fought valiantly but received little support.
