In an edge-of-the-seat friendly cricket match played at the Black Elephant Cricket Club (BECC) ground in Patiala, District Cricket Association (DCA) Barnala chased down a challenging target on the very last ball to win the match and take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.
Toss & First Innings BECC captain won the toss and elected to bat first in the 40-over contest. The home side posted a competitive total of 219/7, thanks to half-centuries from Abhijot (50) and Puspam (50), supported by useful contributions from Mehtab (36), Jasraj (24), and Ankush (21).
For DCA Barnala, Harmanjit was the pick of the bowlers with 3/21, while Harpreet claimed 3/41 and Akshit took 1/40.
