In a landmark step to revolutionize classroom teaching, Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains today flagged off the third batch of 72 primary cadre teachers for a 15-day advanced training program at the University of Turku, Finland.
The group comprises Block Primary Education Officers (BPEOs), Centre Head Teachers (CHTs), Head Teachers (HTs), and ETT teachers, who will immerse themselves in Finland’s globally acclaimed student-centered, collaborative, and inquiry-based pedagogy.

Addressing the media at MGSIPA after the flag-off, the Education Minister said:

He added:
“These merit-selected teachers will return as Master Trainers, cascading global best practices to thousands of peers. From Finland’s child-centric learning to IIM’s strategic leadership — our students will now get education that’s holistic, innovative, and globally competitive.”
