Rohit Sharma Reaches 15,000 International Runs, Joins Elite List with Sehwag and Sachin

Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has achieved another significant milestone in his illustrious career. During the first ODI against Sri Lanka, he became the third Indian opener to reach 15,000 runs in international cricket.
Rohit reached this remarkable feat in just 352 innings across all formats, making him the second-fastest to this landmark among Indian openers. Only Sachin Tendulkar, who achieved the same feat in 331 innings, is ahead of him.

Joining the elite club of Indian openers with 15,000 runs, Rohit joins the likes of Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar. Sehwag tops the list with 15,758 runs in 321 matches, followed by Sachin Tendulkar with 15,335 runs in 346 matches.

Rohit’s blistering knock of 50 runs off just 33 balls in the first ODI showcased his dominance and provided a solid foundation for his team. This was his 56th ODI half-century.
