The ICC Board has confirmed that matches between India and Pakistan, hosted by either nation at ICC events between 2024 and 2027, will be held at neutral venues.

This decision impacts several upcoming tournaments:
- ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 (Pakistan): Scheduled for February and March 2025, matches involving India will be played at a neutral location.
- ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 (India): Matches involving Pakistan will be played at a neutral venue.
- ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 (India and Sri Lanka): Matches involving Pakistan will be played at a neutral venue.
Pakistan has also been awarded hosting rights for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2028, where the same neutral venue policy will apply for matches against India.

Additionally, Cricket Australia is set to host a senior ICC women’s event between 2029 and 2031.
The schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, where Pakistan will look to defend their 2017 title, will be released soon.
