Black Elephant Cricket Club (BECC) kicked off the triangular series with a dominant 42-run victory over Beliver’s Club today.
Beliver’s Club captain won the toss and opted to bowl first. However, their decision backfired as a solid opening partnership of 140 runs between Varun Khatri (80 runs) and Jasraj Singh (49 runs) laid a strong foundation for BECC’s innings. The team capitalized on this start to post a respectable total of 192 runs for 5 wickets in their allotted 40 overs. Abhayjot Singh also chipped in with a valuable unbeaten knock of 27 runs.
