Neeraj Chopra joined the Indian Army as a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) with the rank of Naib Subedar on August 26, 2016. His career progression within the Army has been notable:

  • Awarded the Param Vishisht Seva Medal in 2022, the highest peacetime military honor, following his Olympic success.
