Punjabi University is basking in the glory of two remarkable achievements in archery. Archer Preneet Kaur has earned a spot to represent India at the World Games 2025, scheduled to take place from August 7 to 17, 2025, in Chengdu, China. Preneet secured her position by clinching first place during the selection trials held in Sonipat, also earning a quota place for India with her outstanding performance.
Pooja’s Medal Haul in Para Archery
Simultaneously, archer Pooja has brought laurels to the university by winning three medals at the European Para Archery World Ranking Tournament in Rome, Italy. According to her coach, Mr. Surinder Singh Randhawa, Pooja’s accolades include an Individual Bronze, a Women’s Double Team Bronze, and a Mixed Team Silver, showcasing her versatility and skill on the international stage.
