Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has issued orders to immediately expel former MLA and senior leader Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu from the primary membership of the Indian National Congress.
The decision was taken after Mrs Sidhu’s recent statements and activities were found to be in violation of party discipline and against the interests of the Congress.
Official confirmation from the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee states that the expulsion is effective immediately.
