The Minister shared that the Punjab Government is in the final stages of finalizing a new, comprehensive, and future-oriented Industrial Policy designed to attract next-generation manufacturing and technology-driven investments. The forthcoming policy will emphasize competitive fiscal incentives, plug-and-play industrial infrastructure, sector-specific parks, faster approvals, enhanced logistics efficiency, and strong support for emerging sunrise sectors such as defence manufacturing, electric mobility, advanced materials, renewable energy, and high-end engineering. Special focus will be placed on promoting value-added manufacturing, increasing exports, and generating large-scale job opportunities for Punjab’s youth.

Appreciating the proactive and industry-friendly policies of the Punjab Government, Sajjan Jindal praised Minister Sanjeev Arora’s relentless efforts in attracting new investments and his dedication to building a stable, supportive business climate. Encouraged by the state’s policy framework and facilitation approach, he expressed strong interest in exploring opportunities in defence manufacturing, the automobile sector, and renewable energy projects in Punjab.
