Chandigarh, May 12:
Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora on Tuesday assumed charge as the Minister for Industries & Commerce at Udyog Bhawan, Sector 17, Chandigarh.
It is noteworthy that Arora already holds several important portfolios including Employment Generation, Skill Development & Training, New & Renewable Energy, Good Governance & Information Technology, and Printing & Stationery.
After taking charge, Arora expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal for reposing faith in him. He stated that his topmost priority would be to position Punjab as one of India’s most attractive investment destinations by simplifying procedures, cutting red tape, and promoting sustainable industrial growth.
“My focus will be to create a seamless ecosystem that integrates industrial policy, clean energy, skill development, and governance reforms. Every industrial expansion must result in direct employment for the youth of Punjab,” said Arora.
