Max Healthcare Foundation has announced the launch of the fourth edition of its flagship Max Medical Scholarship Programme, under which the number of annual scholarships will be increased to 250 new students this year, compared with 100 in previous years.
The expansion is expected to significantly broaden the programme’s reach and enable more meritorious students from economically weaker sections to pursue medical education without financial constraints.
Under the scholarship programme, the Foundation will cover the complete cost of medical education for 250 new students who have qualified NEET and secured admission to MBBS programmes for the academic year 2026-27 at government medical colleges in Bathinda, Mohali, Dehradun, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Nagpur, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar.

In addition to supporting the new beneficiaries, the Max Medical Scholarship Programme will continue to fund students selected in previous years. These students are currently pursuing their second, third and fourth years of medical education, ensuring continued financial support throughout their MBBS studies.
Taruna Soni, Chairperson, Max Healthcare Foundation, said, “Over the past three years, the Max Medical Scholarship Programme has supported the medical education of 245 students. This year, we are significantly expanding the programme to support 250 new students, enabling many more deserving students to pursue their dream of becoming doctors without the burden of financial constraints.”
Registration for the scholarship programme has already commenced through the Max Healthcare Foundation website. The scholarship covers tuition fees, a laptop, textbooks and bone sets, dissection kits, stethoscopes and other essential academic equipment. Students will also receive monthly financial assistance to meet their living expenses, along with academic guidance and mentoring.
Applications for the scholarship will be accepted until October 4, 2026.
