CM Yogi Adityanath Invited to Honor Guru Tegh Bahadur ji 350th Martyrdom Anniversary

In line with the Punjab Government’s nationwide outreach to mark the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, Punjab Employment Generation, Skill Development & Training Minister and AAP State President Aman Arora, accompanied by Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond, met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow.
The delegation formally invited the UP CM to join Punjab in solemn remembrance of the Ninth Sikh Guru’s historic martyrdom.
In a warm exchange, the ministers underscored the timeless relevance of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji’s ultimate sacrifice in Delhi to defend every Indian’s right to faith and freedom. They described the commemoration as a pan-India and universal tribute to courage, human rights, and resistance against tyranny.
Arora said, “Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji’s martyrdom is the cornerstone of India’s pluralistic spirit. His immortal stand in the nation’s capital binds his legacy to every Indian heart. The UP CM’s presence will symbolise national unity and honour the Guru’s fearless defence of all communities against oppression.”
Sond added that the milestone event offers a golden chance to deepen cultural and spiritual ties between Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. “Punjab eagerly awaits leaders from all parties to celebrate this sacred occasion, while showcasing our state’s glorious heritage and the eternal principle of ‘Sarbat Da Bhala’.”
The Uttar Pradesh CM graciously accepted the invitation, lauding the Punjab Government’s initiative and hailing the unparalleled, universal legacy of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.
