Chris Gayle holds the record for the highest individual score in T20 cricket with an unbeaten 175 off 66 balls for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) against Pune Warriors in the 2013 IPL. Known as the Universe Boss, Gayle smashed 13 fours and 17 sixes, reaching his century in just 30 balls—the fastest in T20 history. “I was in that flow,” Gayle said, recalling the innings. “It felt like I couldn’t do anything wrong.” His teammate AB de Villiers contributed 31 off 8 balls, helping RCB dominate.
In T20 Internationals, Aaron Finch leads with 172 off 76 balls for Australia against Zimbabwe in 2018, the second-highest T20 score overall.
