Indian Army Honors Patiala District Administration for Support During Operation Sindoor

The Indian Army recognized the Patiala district administration for its significant contribution and support in making Operation Sindoor a success. During the event, a senior female Army officer honored Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav for her efforts.
Senior Army officials met with Commissioner Patiala Division Vinay Bublani and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav, expressing satisfaction with the excellent coordination between the Indian Army, civil administration, and other security forces. They emphasized the critical role such collaboration plays in maintaining security and peace. The officials also highlighted the importance of joint efforts by the district’s citizens and their families in providing essential services and security support.
The Army officers stated, “The civil administration’s pivotal role was instrumental in the success of our operation. Their prompt response, local knowledge, resource mobilization, and ability to conduct mock drills greatly assisted the Army in overcoming various challenges. We are sincerely grateful for the district administration’s unwavering support.”

Commissioner Vinay Bublani and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav shared their experiences of working with the Army and assured continued cooperation in the future. The Indian Army also commended the roles of Civil Defence, Home Guards, Punjab Police, and citizens in national service, acknowledging their significant contributions.
During the ceremony, the Army honored both the Divisional Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner for their support, with both officers expressing pride in being part of the event and appreciating the Army’s meaningful initiative. They affirmed that the civil administration would continue to work with dedication and unity.
Additionally, the Indian Army recognized the civil administration for its disaster management efforts. Local Army officers praised the administration’s role in logistics, infrastructure, and community engagement, underscoring its importance in various aspects of operations.
