Samana MLA Chetan Singh Jauramajra today launched development projects worth ₹7.60 crore in Samana city, marking a significant step toward improving urban infrastructure. Speaking at a well-attended gathering at Mysar Mandir Road, he announced that under the AMRUT-2 scheme, the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board will lay an 18.50 km water supply pipeline and install two new tubewell pumps. These initiatives, set to be completed within eight months, will ensure a reliable supply of clean drinking water for the city’s residents.
Jauramajra highlighted that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is accelerating development efforts across the state. He noted that Local Government Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh has sanctioned special grants for Samana’s essential development works, enabling large-scale projects to transform the city’s infrastructure.

The MLA assured that no effort will be spared in advancing Samana’s development. “Under CM Bhagwant Singh Mann’s leadership, Punjab is progressing rapidly, and we will ensure that Samana’s growth is not left behind. Pending projects will be completed swiftly, and remaining works will be prioritized to transform the city,” he said.
The event was attended by Market Committee Chairman Balkar Singh Gajjumajra, PA Gurdev Singh Tiwana, Pars Sharma, Kuljit Randhawa, Deepak Wadhwa, Surjit Singh Daya, Angrez Singh Bhullar, Ravinder Sohal, Kuldeep Virk, Varinder Dharmhedi, Rana Miala, Sanjay Kumar, Rammi Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, and officials from the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board and Municipal Council.
