Expanding Specialization Options
The reintroduction of the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) with a specialization in International Law provides students with a focused pathway for careers in this critical domain.
Enriching the Legal Landscape
RGNUL recognizes the importance of a well-rounded legal education. New subjects like Agricultural Laws, National Security Laws, Energy Laws, Information Security and Data Protection Laws, and Infrastructure Law broaden the knowledge base of students, equipping them for diverse legal specialties.
Embracing India’s Legal Heritage
In a unique initiative, RGNUL is taking a pioneering step towards integrating the Indic Knowledge System (IKS) into its curriculum. This includes courses like Ancient Jurisprudence, Shaastric Methods of Inquiry into Truth, and Shaastric Methods of Argumentation. This blend of contemporary legal knowledge with India’s rich legal heritage offers a unique and comprehensive perspective to students.
Collaborative Curriculum Development
The revised curriculum is the result of extensive consultations with senior faculty, industry experts, alumni, legal professionals, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), and the Curriculum Development Committee (CDC). This collaborative approach ensures the curriculum remains relevant, practical, and addresses the needs of the evolving legal landscape.
