In a commanding display of cricket, District Cricket Association (DCA) Barnala defeated Black Elephant Cricket Club Patiala by 88 runs in a hard-fought match played at Trident Ground yesterday.
DCA Barnala won the toss and elected to bat first, posting a solid total of 209 all out in 39.1 overs. The innings was powered by a magnificent century from Rohinish Bansal, who smashed an outstanding 109 off 87 balls, including 20 boundaries (a mix of fours and sixes presumed from the boundary count). His aggressive and composed knock formed the backbone of the Barnala innings.
