In a commanding display of cricket, District Cricket Association (DCA) Barnala defeated Black Elephant Cricket Club Patiala by 88 runs in a hard-fought match played at Trident Ground yesterday.
DCA Barnala won the toss and elected to bat first, posting a solid total of 209 all out in 39.1 overs. The innings was powered by a magnificent century from Rohinish Bansal, who smashed an outstanding 109 off 87 balls, including 20 boundaries (a mix of fours and sixes presumed from the boundary count).
