Under the visionary leadership of the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Punjabi University, Patiala, the Malaviya Mission Teachers Training Centre (MMTTC) at Punjabi University successfully concluded the Refresher Course in “Information and Communication Technology (ICT)” with a valedictory session held today. The program brought together faculty members, resource persons, and participants for an enriching experience aimed at advancing ICT skills in higher education.
The valedictory session was graced by Dr. Manish Kapoor, Professor of Botany and Controller of Examinations at Punjabi University, Patiala, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Vinod Verma, Professor and Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, as the Guest of Honour.
In his welcome address, Prof. (Dr.) Raman Maini, Director of MMTTC, extended heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, Dr. Manish Kapoor, for his gracious presence at the closing ceremony and his ongoing support for academic and technological initiatives at the university. He also commended the Guest of Honour, Dr. Vinod Verma, for his outstanding contributions to engineering education and his dedication to promoting innovative learning practices.
Prof. Maini expressed profound appreciation to the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Jagdeep Singh, for his unwavering guidance, encouragement, and continuous support to all academic endeavors of the Centre. He noted that under the Vice Chancellor’s dynamic leadership, MMTTC has successfully organized a series of meaningful programs aligned with the vision of enhancing quality in higher education. Dr. Maini acknowledged that the Vice Chancellor’s commitment to faculty development and research excellence serves as an inspiration for both organizers and participants.
