Calling Young Cyclists! Talent Identification Program Coming to Patiala

Calling all aspiring cyclists aged 12-14 (born 2010-2012)! The Cycling Federation of India, in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India, is hosting a talent identification program to find Punjab’s next cycling stars. This is a golden opportunity to train with the best! Giving information in this regard, the convener of the talent identification program and Maharaja Ranjit Singh awardee Jagdeep Singh Kahlon said that the talent identification program is being conducted in the whole of Punjab.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Goal: Identify and nurture young cycling talent in Punjab.
  • Benefits: Selected players will be sent to train for free at Cycling Federation of India Academies, with accommodation, food, training, and equipment covered.
  • Trials: Open to boys and girls (12-14 years) from Patiala, Sangrur, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali), Malerkotla, and Fatehgarh Sahib districts.
  • Date & Time: August 4th, 2024, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Location: Polo Ground, Patiala

What to Bring:

  • Proof of eligibility (age proof documents)
  • 4 passport-sized photographs
