Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today launched a fleet of 58 advanced ambulances as part of the state’s commitment to improving healthcare accessibility. This addition brings the total number of hi-tech ambulances in the state to 325.

These ambulances are equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and are designed to reach patients in urban areas within 15 minutes and rural areas within 20 minutes of a call. The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s goal of providing timely and quality healthcare to all citizens.

To ensure transparency and accountability, the government has implemented a real-time tracking system for ambulances.

The new fleet is expected to play a crucial role in saving lives, especially in emergencies. The existing fleet has already transported over one lakh patients, including thousands of heart patients, pregnant women, and newborns, to hospitals across the state.
