Neel Garg claims Modi’s projects marred by corruption despite anti-corruption rhetoric

Chandigarh, August 1,

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has responded to the water leakage issues in the new Parliament House building during Wednesday’s rainfall, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government of corruption.

Neel Garg, Senior AAP leader and spokesperson for Punjab, stated that the incident has exposed the corruption within Modi’s administration. “Prime Minister Modi and BJP leaders frequently proclaim their commitment to fighting corruption, yet their own projects are riddled with it,” Garg said.

He criticized the fact that water began dripping from the new Parliament House, despite it being a multi-billion-rupee project. Garg also pointed to recent issues at the Delhi International Airport, where the roof collapsed, and various other infrastructure failures that occurred during Modi’s tenure.

Garg added, “It’s not just the ‘temple of democracy’ that has leaks; even the roof of the Ram temple faces issues. This highlights the hypocrisy of the BJP, as their actions reflect the old saying, ‘mukh par Ram, baghal mein chhuri’ (pretending to be virtuous while acting deceitfully).”

He further condemned Modi’s government, citing the numerous scams that have emerged, including the controversial electoral bond scam. Garg concluded by labeling the BJP as the “Bhrashtachari Janata Party” (Corrupt People’s Party).
