Fatima Sana, a promising 22-year-old all-rounder, has been appointed as the captain of Pakistan’s 15-member squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. She takes over from Nida Dar, who remains an integral part of the team.
Sana has previously led Pakistan Emerging and domestic teams, and also captained the national side to a memorable ODI victory over New Zealand.

The Pakistan squad for the T20 World Cup features one change from the Women’s Asia Cup. Sadaf Shamas replaces Najiha Alvi, who will travel as a reserve player.
