Chandigarh, September 5
The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the allocation of four MBBS seats for the academic year 2024-25. These seats are reserved for the nomination of children or spouses of deceased/disabled civilian victims of terrorism.
The seats are distributed across three medical colleges:
- A.N. Magadh Medical College, Gaya (Bihar) – 1 seat
- Grant Medical College, Mumbai (Maharashtra) – 1 seat
- Pt. JNM Medical College, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) – 2 seats
Eligibility for Punjab Students
The spokesperson clarified that students from Punjab are also eligible to apply for these reserved seats.

Eligibility Criteria
- Indian Nationality is mandatory.
- The candidate must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission or will turn 17 by December 31st of the admission year.
