New Zealand has bolstered its coaching staff ahead of crucial Test matches in Asia. Former Sri Lanka spinner Rangana Herath will join as bowling coach for all three matches, replacing Saqlain Mushtaq. Ex-India batting coach Vikram Rathour will also join the team to provide insights for the Test against Afghanistan.
New Zealand coach Gary Stead expressed his excitement about the additions. He highlighted Herath’s experience, especially his 100+ Test wickets in Galle, which will be invaluable for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka.
