Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has retained their captain, Smriti Mandhana, as the most expensive player in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 auction. The franchise has retained a total of 14 players, including the star Indian batter. Additionally, RCB has acquired Danielle Wyatt from UP Warriorz through a trade.
Mandhana, who was bought by RCB for a whopping INR 3.4 crore in the inaugural WPL auction, continues to be the face of the franchise. Despite a disappointing first season, RCB bounced back strongly in the second season under Mandhana’s captaincy, clinching the title.
