Punjab Police has made a significant breakthrough in its fight against terrorism and organized crime by arresting two key operatives of gangster-turned-terrorist Arsh Dalla. The duo was allegedly involved in the murder of Gurpreet Singh Hari Nau and was planning several other targeted killings.
Key Points:
- Arrest of Key Operatives: Anmolpreet Singh alias Vishal and Navjot Singh alias Neetu were arrested in a joint operation by the State Special Operations Cell (SSOC) Mohali, Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), and Faridkot District Police.
- Thwarted Target Killings: The arrest of these individuals has prevented at least four potential target killings.
- Multiple Crimes Solved: The arrests have also helped solve three sensational crimes, including a murder in Madhya Pradesh.
- Recovery of Arms and Ammunition: Police recovered two sophisticated pistols, ammunition, and other incriminating evidence from the arrested accused.
- Arsh Dalla’s Involvement: The investigation revealed that Arsh Dalla had tasked Navjot Singh with eliminating Gurpreet Singh Hari Nau. Dalla provided the necessary weapons and logistical support to carry out the crime.
