The Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM) has joined hands with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) to enhance healthcare training and skill development in the state. The collaboration aims to train at least 200 young individuals annually in various healthcare courses.

Key Points:
- Center of Excellence: A dedicated Center of Excellence will be established at the Health Skill Development Centre in Faridkot to facilitate advanced training programs.
- Course Offerings: The training programs will cover a wide range of healthcare specialties, including Home Health Aide, Operating Theatre Technician, Emergency Medical Technician, General Duty Assistant, Dental Assistant, Plaster Techniques, and Orthopedic Technician.
- Skill Development and Job Opportunities: The initiative aims to empower young people with the necessary skills to meet the growing demands of the healthcare sector. It will also create employment opportunities and encourage entrepreneurship.
This partnership between PSDM and BFUHS signifies a significant step towards strengthening Punjab’s healthcare infrastructure and ensuring a skilled workforce to meet future challenges.
