Scholar Fields Public School, Patiala, recently hosted its Annual Sports Meet, a vibrant celebration of athleticism and teamwork. The event was graced by the presence of the school’s Director, Mr. S.S. Sodhi, as the chief guest.
The day began with a colorful March Past by students representing the four houses – Raman (Red), Kalam (Green), Tagore (Yellow), and Curie (Blue). The torch-lighting ceremony, led by sports achievers and mentors, ignited the competitive spirit. The Sports Captain and House Captains administered the oath, pledging fair play and sportsmanship.

The athletic events showcased the students’ talent and dedication. From track and field events like the 100m race, relay race, and hurdle race to fun games like the frog race and balance the cone, the students participated with enthusiasm.
The cultural performances were equally impressive, with the rhythmic Lazium Dance by Grade 4 and the synchronized Mass Drill by Grade 5 captivating the audience.
Tagore House emerged as the overall champion, and their victory run concluded the event on a celebratory note. The Sports Meet was a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering a healthy and active lifestyle among its students.
