India Women secured a convincing 49-run victory over West Indies Women in the first T20I of the three-match series.

India’s Strong Batting Performance:
- Jemimah Rodrigues and Smriti Mandhana were the stars of the Indian batting lineup, scoring 73 and 54 runs, respectively.
- India posted a challenging total of 195/4 in their 20 overs.
West Indies’ Struggle:
- West Indies’ chase was hindered by early wickets and tight bowling from the Indian bowlers.
- Deandra Dottin and Qiana Joseph showed some resistance, but India’s bowlers kept them under pressure.
- Titas Sadhu was the pick of the Indian bowlers, taking three wickets.
With this victory, India has taken a 1-0 lead in the series. The second T20I will be played on Tuesday at the same venue.
