Sainik School Kapurthala is now accepting online applications for admission to Classes VI and IX for the academic year 2025-26. The application process is conducted through the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) held by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Eligibility:
- Age:
- Class VI: 10-12 years old as of March 31, 2025
- Class IX: 13-15 years old as of March 31, 2025
- Gender: Open to both boys and girls

Financial Aid:
The Punjab Government offers income-based scholarships to students with Punjab domicile:
- Up to ₹3,00,000 annual income: 100% tuition fee reimbursement
- ₹3,00,001 – ₹5,00,000: 75% tuition fee reimbursement
- ₹5,00,001 – ₹7,50,000: 50% tuition fee reimbursement
- ₹7,50,001 – ₹10,00,000: 25% tuition fee reimbursement
- Above ₹10,00,000: No financial assistance
Additional financial assistance might be available based on eligibility, including scholarships from the Ministry of Defence (MoD), NDA incentives, and Bihar Government scholarships.
