Indian Cricket Schedule 2025: Women’s ODI World Cup and Men’s Champions Trophy Take Center Stage

2025 promises another exciting year for Indian cricket, highlighted by the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup and the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy.
Men’s Cricket:
The Indian men’s team begins 2025 with the final Test of the 2023-25 World Test Championship (WTC) cycle against Australia in Sydney (January 3-7). They then host England for five T20Is and three ODIs starting January 22.

The ICC Champions Trophy, hosted by Pakistan and the UAE in February-March (February 19-March 9), will be a key focus as India aims to reclaim the title they last won in 2013.
The IPL 2025 will dominate the Indian cricket calendar from March to May, with no international fixtures scheduled during this period.
India’s WTC 2025-27 campaign begins with a significant five-match Test series in England in June (June 20-August 4). A one-off Test, potentially the WTC final (subject to qualification), is scheduled for June 11-15 in England.
Later in the year, India will tour Bangladesh for three ODIs and three T20Is in August (dates to be announced), followed by a series against West Indies (2 Tests) at a venue to be determined in October (dates to be announced). They will conclude the year with a tour of South Africa for two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is in November-December (dates to be announced).

Women’s Cricket:
The Indian women’s team starts 2025 with a home ODI series against Ireland in the second week of January (January 10-15). The Women’s Premier League (WPL) will be held in February-March.
India will host the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup in September-October (dates and venues to be confirmed), providing a prime opportunity for Harmanpreet Kaur’s team to secure their first ICC trophy after finishing as runners-up twice before.
The women’s team will also tour England for five T20Is and three ODIs from June 28 to July 22 and host Australia for three ODIs in September (dates to be announced). They will end the year with a home series against Bangladesh consisting of three ODIs and three T20Is in December (dates to be announced).
