The ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 is set to begin in Malaysia on January 18, 2025.
Sixteen rising stars from around the globe will compete in 41 matches across four venues in Malaysia, showcasing their talent on the world stage. The tournament kicks off with six exciting matches on the opening day.

India won the inaugural U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in 2023, defeating England in the final.
Tournament Details:
Groups:
- Group A: India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, West Indies
- Group B: England, Ireland, Pakistan, USA
- Group C: New Zealand, Nigeria, Samoa, South Africa
- Group D: Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Scotland
Format:
The 16 teams are divided into four groups of four. Each team plays every other team in their group once. The top three teams from each group advance to the Super Six League stage. Teams from Group A will face two qualifying teams from Group D, and teams from Group B will compete against two qualifiers from Group C. Points earned against qualifying teams in the group stage will carry over to the Super Six League. The top two teams from each Super Six League will proceed to the semi-finals, with the final scheduled for February 2, 2025.

Previous Edition (2023):
The first edition of the tournament was held in South Africa in 2023. India emerged victorious, defeating England by seven wickets in the final at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom. England’s Grace Scrivens was named Player of the Tournament for her impressive performance with both bat (293 runs) and ball (nine wickets) in seven matches.
