In a display of unparalleled batting dominance, India etched their names in history on Wednesday, becoming only the third team in Women’s ODI history to surpass the 400-run mark. Against Ireland, the hosts amassed a staggering 435/3, driven by scintillating centuries from captain Smriti Mandhana (135) and opener Pratika Rawal (154).

This historic achievement places India alongside cricketing giants New Zealand and Australia, who have previously breached the 400-run barrier in Women’s ODIs. Notably, New Zealand holds the record with 491/4 against Ireland in 2018, while Australia boasts a score of 412 against Denmark in 1997.
