Emphasizing the pivotal role of women in societal progress, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann coined the slogan “Empowered Women, Empowered Society” during a Women Empowerment Summit at ISF College in Moga.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister lauded the contributions of Indian and Punjabi women in advancing society. He highlighted their crucial role in fostering social and cultural cohesion and their immense potential to drive global prosperity and development.
CM Mann acknowledged the significant role of women in safeguarding the nation’s borders and emphasized the need to empower women and ensure their rightful place in society. Highlighting the importance of education, CM Mann emphasized that girls, when given the opportunity, can achieve any goal. He lauded women entrepreneurs for their crucial role in the state’s economic growth and reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting their endeavors.
