The Khelo India Winter Games 2025, currently underway in Ladakh, have seen Karnataka emerge as the early leader in the medal tally with one gold and one silver medal.
The Games, featuring over 400 athletes from 19 teams, are being held across two phases. The first phase, currently underway in Ladakh, includes ice hockey and ice skating events.

- Karnataka’s Lead: Karnataka currently leads the medal tally with one gold and one silver medal.
- Nayana Sri Talluri’s Gold: 15-year-old Nayana Sri Talluri from Telangana made history by winning a hat-trick of gold medals in speed skating at the Games.
- Team Championship: The Games follow a team championship format, with medals earned by individual athletes contributing to their respective state/UT/institution’s overall tally.
