In a bold escalation of its ongoing “Yudh Nashian Virudh” (War Against Drugs) campaign, the Punjab government conducted a pioneering trial of advanced anti-drone technology on Wednesday at Naushehra Dhalla, a village near the Indo-Pak border in Tarn Taran district. Speaking to the media, Aman Arora emphasized the Punjab government’s unwavering resolve under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate the drug menace that has long plagued the state. “For years, the drug trade devastated countless lives in Punjab while previous governments did nothing,” Arora stated. “Today, we are taking decisive, concrete steps to wipe out this scourge once and for all.”

The anti-drone systems, demonstrated by a private company, feature advanced detection, identification, and neutralization capabilities.
