During the Eid festivities, prayers were offered at the Eid Gah for a drug-free Punjab, a cause close to the Chief Minister’s heart. Expressing his encouragement, Mann said, “The ‘Yudh Nasheyan Virudh’ (War Against Drugs) campaign can only succeed with the people’s active participation.” He urged citizens to join hands in this crusade, stating that public support is vital to eradicate the drug menace and make Punjab a healthier state.

Commitment to Infrastructure and Harmony
The Chief Minister highlighted the state’s efforts to optimize groundwater use, noting that 15,947 water courses have been revived since the AAP assumed power. This initiative ensures canal water reaches remote villages, supporting farmers’ irrigation needs while conserving groundwater. He also emphasized the government’s focus on upgrading roads across Punjab to facilitate commuting, goods transport, and economic growth.
Reiterating his commitment to communal harmony, Mann said, “Punjab’s social fabric is strong, and no seed of hatred will ever take root here.” He assured that Malerkotla would be equipped with ultra-modern infrastructure and basic civic amenities, transforming it into a model district.
Eid Message of Unity
Extending his greetings on Eid—a festival symbolizing universal brotherhood, peace, and amity—Mann called for collective celebrations transcending caste, color, and creed. “This sacred occasion, marking the end of Ramzan, strengthens our bonds of harmony and inspires us to follow the path of love and empathy as taught by our Gurus, Saints, and Seers,” he said.
Ongoing Campaigns and Inclusive Growth
The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s resolve to combat illegal properties, corruption in the Revenue department, and the drug menace. He described the Rs 200 crore allocation for Malerkotla as a testament to the state’s commitment to inclusive growth and prosperity for all districts.
With these announcements, CM Mann’s Eid visit not only brought cheer to the Muslim community but also laid the foundation for a brighter, more developed future for Malerkotla.
