Punjab Government Strengthens Anti-Drug Efforts
As part of the Punjab Government’s intensified ‘Ik Yudh Nashe Virudh’ (War Against Drugs) campaign, a significant awareness event was held at DAV Public School, Patiala. The government has mobilized top officials to oversee efforts across the state, collaborating with social, religious, and volunteer organizations to unite in the mission to make Punjab drug-free. The campaign has also escalated actions against drug traffickers, including property demolitions in some instances, to curb the drug menace.
Awareness Session at DAV Public School
Motivational speaker Paramjit Singh Aggarwal, accompanied by Sub Inspector. Pardeep Kumar, visited DAV Public School, Patiala, to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse. Addressing approximately 300 students from classes 9 to 12, they highlighted the severe physical, social, and emotional impacts of drugs, emphasizing how such abuse can devastate precious lives.
