In a moment of immense pride for Punjab, Narinder Singh, a dedicated teacher at Government Primary School, Jandiali, Ludhiana, has been selected for the prestigious National Teachers’ Award 2025, recognizing his exceptional commitment to delivering quality education.
Punjab School Education Minister S. Harjot Singh Bains expressed his delight at this national recognition, warmly congratulating Narinder Singh for his nomination for the esteemed award. Bains wished him continued success and highlighted that Narinder’s achievement sets an inspiring example for educators to make a lasting impact on their students. He praised Narinder’s outstanding teaching skills, innovative methods, and unwavering dedication to fostering a love for learning, noting that this recognition underscores the transformative power of quality education in shaping young minds.
The National Teachers’ Award ceremony is scheduled for September 5, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, where Narinder Singh will be honored with a certificate of merit, a cash prize of Rs. 50,000, and a silver medal for his remarkable contributions to education.
Expressing his gratitude and joy, Narinder Singh, who has served in the School Education Department since January 2002, said, “I am deeply humbled by this national recognition. This achievement is a result of the unwavering support from my students, colleagues, and the education department. I am committed to striving for excellence and positively impacting my students’ lives.”
Narinder highlighted the transformative efforts of the village panchayat and the state government at Jandiali school, which have led to the establishment of 15 smart classrooms, three libraries (including a mobile library), and three specialized parks—Sundar Likhai Park, Math Park, and IT Park—enhancing the learning environment for students.
