Civil Surgeon Dr. Shaili Jaitley visited Primary Health Centre (PHC) Ajnoda to review the quality of healthcare services being provided to patients and to ensure smooth functioning of the facility.
During her visit, Dr. Jaitley first checked the attendance of the staff. She then interacted with patients receiving treatment for various ailments and enquired about the quality of care being provided to them. She paid special attention to the treatment of pregnant women and instructed the staff to ensure that no negligence occurs in maternal healthcare.
Dr. Jaitley thoroughly inspected several departments of the PHC, including Emergency, General Ward, Labour Room, Laboratory, Cold Chain Point, Aam Aadmi Clinic, OT Centre, and Pharmacy. She also checked the expiry dates of medicines kept in the emergency ward and directed the concerned in-charge to ensure there is no shortage of essential medicines at any time.

She issued strict instructions to the Medical Officers and staff present to:
- Avoid any kind of negligence in patient care
- Ensure all lab tests and medicines are provided free of cost to patients in the government facility
- Maintain punctuality during duty hours
- Keep the hospital premises clean and hygienic
Dr. Jaitley also directed the staff to intensify Dry Day activities in the coming days and create awareness among the public about them.
On this occasion, the entire staff of PHC Ajnoda was present. Dr. Shaili Jaitley also inspected an eye check-up camp organized at the village Panchayat Ghar.
