Addressing the gathering, Air Marshal Randhawa congratulated the awardees and highlighted the crucial role played by MRSAFPI in shaping future military leaders. He remarked that the training imparted at the institute serves as a strong foundation for successful careers in the Armed Forces. He also extended his best wishes to the NDA graduates as they embark on the next phase of their military training and commended the faculty for the institute’s consistent achievements.

Sharing the institute’s accomplishments, Major General Ajay H. Chauhan, VSM (Retd.), Director of MRSAFPI, informed that since its inception, 324 cadets from the institute have joined the NDA and other military academies, out of which 196 have been commissioned as officers in the Indian Armed Forces. Additionally, 24 more cadets are awaiting joining letters for entry into the NDA and other training academies.

He noted that MRSAFPI has emerged as one of the country’s leading feeder institutions for the Armed Forces, consistently producing high-quality officer candidates.

The institute runs a rigorous two-year residential programme, where selected cadets complete their Class 12 education through an affiliated school while simultaneously undergoing intensive training in physical fitness, leadership, personality development, and preparation for the NDA entrance examination.

Each year, nearly 4,000 students apply for admission to the institute, but only 48 candidates are selected through a highly competitive process.

Major General Chauhan said the Achievers Award ceremony not only recognised the accomplishments of outstanding alumni but also served as a source of inspiration for current cadets, motivating them to pursue excellence and uphold the proud legacy of MRSAFPI.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment to nurturing future military leaders dedicated to serving the nation with honour, courage, and professionalism.
