The Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) has announced trials to select the Patiala Men’s Senior Cricket Team for the upcoming Punjab State Inter-District Senior One-Day Tournament 2026-27.
According to Amrinder Vir Singh Barsat, Chairperson of the Patiala Sub-Committee, Punjab Cricket Association, the selection trials will be held on July 24, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. onwards at the Dhruv Pandove Cricket Stadium, Baradari Garden, Patiala.

Players who are residents of Patiala district, born in the district, or have been studying in the district for at least one year prior to the tournament are eligible to participate in the trials.
Eligible players must report to the venue with the following original documents for verification:
- Passport
- Digital Birth Certificate
- Marksheet for the academic year 2025-26 (Open School candidates are not eligible)
- Bonafide Certificate from the current educational institution for the 2026-27 academic session
- One recent passport-size photograph
- One set of self-attested photocopies of all the above documents
The PCA has urged all eligible cricketers from Patiala district to attend the trials and take advantage of the opportunity to represent the district in the prestigious state-level tournament.
