India accelerated significantly at the end, scoring 53 runs in the final five overs to finish on 149/6.

India reach 10th Asia Cup final

The victory was particularly significant because India reached the Women’s Asia Cup final for the 10th time. India have now reached the final in all six editions of the Women’s T20 Asia Cup, winning the title in 2012, 2016 and 2022 and finishing runners-up in 2018 and 2024.

India will play the winner of the Sri Lanka vs Pakistan second semi-final in the final on 13 September 2026 in Dubai.
