India’s Archers Ready for Antalya
After securing four medals at Stage 1 in Auburndale and seven at Stage 2 in Shanghai, Indian archers are set to compete at the Archery World Cup 2025 Stage 3 in Antalya, Turkiye. Fans in India can watch the live action from Antalya!
Leading India’s challenge are four-time Olympian Deepika Kumari, world champion Ojas Deotale, and Asian Games gold medallist Jyothi Surekha Vennam. The event begins today, Tuesday, in Antalya.
Event Overview
The Archery World Cup Stage 3 in Antalya will be held from June 4 to June 8, 2025, with live streaming available for Indian viewers. India has sent a 16-member team to the competition.
India finished fourth in Auburndale, winning one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals. In Shanghai’s Stage 2, the team claimed seven medals—two gold, one silver, and four bronze.
Deepika Kumari, a former world No. 1, will aim to add to her 37 Archery World Cup medals after her bronze in the women’s individual recurve event in Shanghai. She will be joined by Anshika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat, and Simranjeet Kaur in the women’s recurve category.

Parth Salunkhe, who won bronze in the men’s individual recurve in Shanghai last month, will also compete. The recurve men’s team of Olympians Dhiraj Bommadevara, Atanu Das, and Tarundeep Rai, who secured silver in Auburndale in April, will look to shine again. Dhiraj also won a bronze in the men’s individual recurve in April.
In the compound events, Jyothi Surekha Vennam will team up with Aditi Swami for the women’s category. Madhura Dhamangaonkar, who clinched gold in the women’s individual compound in Shanghai, and Chikitha Taniparthi round out the women’s compound team.
The men’s compound squad includes world champion Ojas Deotale, two-time Asian Games team gold medallist Abhishek Verma, Rishabh Yadav, and Uday Kamboj.
